Strathfield One Stop Child Care Service is a not-for-profit early learning centre in Homebush providing support to families through quality care and education for young children. Here at SOCCS, we are passionate about your child's welfare and learning.
With a home-like environment, we providesecure childcare facilities and educational programs that are meaningful and stimulating to let them thrive at their own pace. Our children are under the care of highly qualified and multicultural teachers and staff that have many years of experience.
We are proud of our dedicated team helping children develop their potential, facilitate learning experiences, and look after the unique needs of each child. As a parent managed organisation, we focus on ensuring that parents, families, and community members are involved. We encourage them to actively participate, contribute ideas, skills, and knowledge and provide us with valuable feedback to enrich our programs.

Strathfield One Stop Child Care Service uses the Early Years Learning Framework "in partnership with families, children's first and most influential educators, to develop learning programs responsive to children's ideas, interests, strengths and abilities, and recognise that children learn through play" (Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace, (2009). BELONGING, BEING & BECOMING The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia). Following this curriculum, we aim to extend and enrich children's learning from birth through to the transition to school. Our educators develop physical learning environments that are secure and predictable with adequate space and appropriate facilities and resources to enable children to choose what they will do. Our childcare and learning environment caters to different learning capacities and styles to invite children and families to contribute ideas, interests, and questions (EYLF, 2009, Standard 3.2).

Meet Our Dedicated Staff
We have a team of over 25 permanent staff, all passionate about early childhood and the welfare of children.
Our Educators are highly trained. In each room, there is an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) and a diploma-trained Educator, and this is not mandatory. Our Cert. III Educators have many years of experience working in Early Childhood. We are fortunate to have an over the ratio of educators that work in the classrooms. We feel this is important to provide quality education and care. We have a very diverse team of staff which we are very proud of. They speak different languages and share their culture with the children and community. Some of the countries represented amongst our staff include India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, China, Turkey, Portugal, Malaysia and Lebanon.
At SOCCS, we pride ourselves on a very low staff turnover, with a number of the staff that had reached their 10 years of service and even 20 years. The dedicated team of SOCCS strive in their roles to educate children and teach them life skills.
